Chrysalis Centre - Perpetrators of Domestic Abuse
​
For 2025/26, the Chrysalis Centre will be delivered by Red Snapper Managed Services. They will continue the delivery of an effective triage service, ensuring all referrals are screened for underlying causation factors and facilitating accurate onward referral to the appropriate intervention.

The Chrysalis Centre continues to work alongside a range of intervention providers, delivering services to a wide range of perpetrator types and risk levels. This includes interventions for:

Standard, Medium, and High Risk IPV

Parents experiencing domestic abuse during pregnancy

Children and Young People demonstrating abusive behaviour towards parent(s)/carer(s)

Low risk, first time offenders of domestic abuse who have received a conditional caution

From April 2025 Early Childhood Partnership (ECP) are the providers for IDVA support for standard and medium risk victims of DA and DA Stalking across Bedfordshire. You can contact ECP via horizons@ecpbedford.org Both the adults and children’s referral forms are available on their website - IDVA and Therapeutic Support Service - One YMCA

High risk
High risk referrals should be made to MARAC. Victim Support continue to have IDVAs to support high risk victims of domestic abuse referred through MARAC for all 3 authorities.
Hospital IDVA
Victim Support will also continue to have a Hospital IDVA based within Bedford Hospital who will work with standard and medium risk.
Stalking Advocate (ISAC)
Victim Support’s ISAC will support non domestic abuse victims of stalking.
ELFT IDVA
The support provided from Victim Support has come to an end. Victim Support will continue to offer support to those who have a current open referral until the end of April 2025 but will not be accepting any new referrals. This has been a good collaborative project and one, we hope, we may have again in the future.
